There is a lot of money in diet industry, but I must admit I’ve never heard of a nutritionist charging $10,000 for weight loss advice. Well, that’s exactly what New York nutritionist and the author of The F-Factor Diet: Discover the Secret to Permanent Weight Loss Tanya Zuckerbrot is charging her clients.
With so much information available these days, it’s hard to believe that someone can come up with something new. Tanya admitted to Yahoo! Shine that a lot of her advice is
– science and not her opinion,
– psychology (she makes people feel good about themselves).
Tanya sees about ten clients per day and has 200 active clients at any given time. Apparently Tanya is really good in psychology and knows how to sell herself.
While her advice works, I am pretty sure it still involves restricting your food intake in one way or another. It doesn’t matter how much you pay for consultation, you won’t lose weight by simply seeing a nutritionist – you still have to change the way you eat.
Another factor that contributes to success is probably the price itself. When you invest $10,000 into something you want it to work, so you are much more likely to do everything you were asked to do. If I paid $10,000, I would be dead serious about my weight loss. How about you?
