Your smile is the central point of your face. No matter how perfect your makeup is, bad teeth will ruin your looks.
According to researchers from The University of Gothenberg in Sweden, simply brushing twice a day is not going to cut it. You can improve your teeth protection by as much as 400 percent by rubbing toothpaste into your gums after lunch. Note, you don’t have to use toothbrush for this. You can actually use your finger.
In addition, the researchers suggest that you simply spit the excess toothpaste instead of rinsing. According to them, this will help your mouth retain more fluoride. Fluoride is important because it prevents tooth decay by strengthening the enamel coating of your teeth.
Like with most things, there is another side to this story. While some consider fluoride to be safe, some others believe it can pose risk to your health and may have side effects. It’s not clear who we are supposed to follow, but one thing is for sure – we are already using fluoride toothpastes, so perhaps a little more will not make our lives much more dangerous.
